Cutter rig

We left our anchorage bright and early and are now on a broad reach
headed for Saxon Harbor. Winds backed to SW at 10 to 15knots. With the
cutter rig we can make 7 knots fine.

schooner bay

We've stopped in at Schooner Bay to see Alfred Holtzer and have a little work done. We'll be pulling the Drum Thunder out of the water tomorrow and replacing the dripless seal with a stuffing box. Thanks Alfred!
Somehow, an extra few days spent here seems like a bonus. The temerature is perfect and the mosquitos are slow.
